In April 2021, Nicholas Dodge became critically ill with COVID-19. What followed was a medical crisis that would stretch far beyond anything he or his family could have imagined: months on life support, seven months on ECMO, a double lung transplant, and a recovery process that tested him physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
